Is it normal for a husband to not be interested in ?
My husband and I have been married for a year and he shows little interest in . He and I get along well and we enjoy spending time with each other. In fact, we cuddle and watch television together on a regular basis. I do not believe my husband is cheating on me because he is at work during the day (and yes, I know he's actually at work) and he spends all evening with me. He is loving and will cuddle with me, give me back rubs, kiss me, etc. but seldom wants . He goes through spurts - sometimes he wants three times a week for a few weeks straight and then he'll go to where we're lucky if we have once a week. I know he's been stressed because he's laid off, but does stress really have that much of an effect on a man's libido? I don't think he looks at because he is not computer savvy (he's been on our computer maybe twice since we got married) and we have to live on such a tight budget that I know he can't be renting it or buying magazines. I tried to have a heart-to-heart with him and I asked him if he fell out of love with me and he hugged me and told me that was absurd. He said that he loves me dearly and that our marriage is far more to him than just . I asked him if he was no longer attracted to me and he, again, said that was far from the case. He says that he's never had much of an interest in sex. I'm somewhat inclined to believe this, as he's very reserved when it comes to anything sexual. He doesn't like french kissing and he says I'm the first girl he's ever had with. I do know he's self-conscience because he feels he is overweight. Am I nuts for being upset about this? Should I just be thanking my lucky starts that I found one of the few men who value the relationship more than the sex or should I be worried? Also, he asked me over a year ago to stop taking my birth control because he wanted us to have a baby. We tried to conceive for a year and then I started to get hurt and upset every time I would get a "negative" on my pregnancy tests. We had sex a lot more often when we were actively trying to conceive. Now that we're just being relaxed about conceiving we don't have sex as often. This wouldn't be my husband's first child - he has two others, so I know he wasn't just interested in the sex because he wanted a baby.
