Can I add a graphics card to my laptop?

I'm fairly sure the answer is no, but I wanted to ask anyway. I have an Advent 7014 notebook with integrated graphics chipset, but I would like a dedicated graphics card for 3d modelling work. This was the best machine I could afford at the time. I have a free PCMCIA slot but all I can see for this is wireless network cards or sound cards. Any ideas other than a new laptop?
