Is THIS what it will take to STOP illegal immigration?? Hey,sounds good to me!!!?

I wish they could all do their time in the nastiest, most foul prisons we have!! Like some here say, I hate that we still pay for their food and roof while in jail, but I've heard enough about how when we deport them they just turn around and head back and keep doing so until they make it in. If enough of them got nailed with long jail terms, maybe it would be a deterrent. If, as some say, their main reason for coming is because they have families in Mexico that are reliant on their support, well they sure aren't helping their families much while their s are in jail, are they? Their families would have been much better off had they tried to find a job in Mexico or at least applied through the proper procedures to come legally - not to mention all the money many of them give to the coyotes to get here, as well. I believe this is a step in the right direction and even if we have to pay for their support in jail, if the sentences are long enough and the jail conditions are bad enough, it will so act as a deterrent when word starts getting around to other would-be illegals. Give 'em HARD TIME!! Build that fence FAST! No more stupid talk about "possible amnesty" because all that does is encourage more to try to come! Also, get on with nailing the employers hard, as well!
